SARA RAE | PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY FIFE
Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means it no longer controls your life - Akshay Dubey

ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Sara Rae, I'm a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP), and I specialise in supporting people through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Over the past ten years I've worked within the NHS Psychology service, for charitable organisations, and in the private sector as both a life coach and, more recently, a therapist. Helping people has always been a big part of who I am.
I have worked in various therapeutic roles, including supporting people affected by addiction and these experiences have really shaped my down-to-earth and compassionate approach to therapy. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes.

MY PERSONAL LIFE

I am bilingual and proudly multicultural. I was born and raised in Guatemala, a place close to my heart, and at fifteen, my family made a big move to Scotland. Growing up with a loving Guatemalan father and a caring Scottish mother, I was immersed in two rich cultures, which have shaped who I am today. That transition taught me so much about resilience, courage, and embracing change, lessons I carry into how I connect with and support the people I work with.
Outside of my professional life, I am a proud wife and a loving mum to a wonderful baby boy. Our home is full of joy, laughter, and the lively energy of two huskies who never fail to keep me on my toes. My family and life experiences are at the core of who I am, fueling the warmth, empathy, and determination I bring to work every day.
I am truly passionate about helping people find their way forward, and I'd be honourned to walk alongside you as you take steps toward the life you want and deserve.
